Beware Under new management!!. Awful food. Awful customer service. The manager was picked off the street to manage this place. The new owners should know this manager chases their customers away. He has no conflict resolution skills. My salmon burger was not even a salmon color, because they mixed it with so much tuna. I had to search for it in between the buns because of its size, and it was dry. Someone who cooks knows that's it's basically impossible to dry out salmon because of it fat content, further proof this was mixed with a white fish. Manager stated they are not a German beer hall, hence they discontinued the schnitzel...but the umbrellas indicate otherwise and they have German beer on their menu. What hypocrisy!! The other meal was a Classic hamburger. For this classic hamburger they did not have tomatoes or fresh onion slices. The lettuce was a few strands of wilted green. Yet an other hypocrisy. Go only for the beer but even that is questionable.
They even dare to call themselves "gastropub". Wow. I've been to gastropubs, this place is NOT of such caliber.

Clinton Hall is an excellent beer hall with plenty of taps, good food, and a great outdoor beer garden. The tap takeover from Elysian brewery was awesome. They had about 10 beers and tapped a new one every 30 minutes across great varieties. The food menu wasn't huge and had common bar food, but the wings were pretty good, though unapologeticly doused in Frank's. It gets pretty busy on weekdays being a local haunt for financial district employees, so grab a table early. The service was the biggest downside, it started well, but completely broke down when it got crowded. Our waitress was nice, attentive, and even walked us through the menu when we arrived, but once it got crowded we wouldn't see her for over an hour at a time and had attitude. Even the next table over commented on it. We eventually learned to order a round ahead. Still, great place for beer with a great tap list.

Pretty solid beer bar. Overpriced, but that's NYC. On the standard menu, the cheapest possible drink is $8. However, they will sometimes have a slightly cheaper option up on the board, and they're still good beer.

They've got a ping pong table, Foosball, big jenga, and big connect 4. They've got indoor and outdoor space to enjoy, and the outdoor space is covered.

They have decent food, also. It looks really good, but the main item on the menu is different types of sausages with fries. I've gotten a different sausage twice and wasn't impressed with either. The fries were good though.

This place is the best, if not only biergarten you'll find in the financial district. The food is good and the beer selection is broad. Prices aren't any higher than similar pubs in the city. The decor is very cool fusion of modern urban mixed with classic biergarten decor.

Fantastic atmosphere and the food and drinks are always good! Dodgey bathrooms though.
