Overpriced for undercooked food! Never again!

I had never heard of Community Smith before, and chose it as it sounded like a quiet spot to catch up with my friend. I had hoped to eat on the roof, which is lovely, but they had a limited menu.I'll look forward to going back there for a drink.

There were only a few people dining at 7:30 pm, so we were seated at a nice roomy table.Comfortable and private. Our waiter, Roy, was immediately funny and personable. He was very helpful in selecting wine and beer,as well as the menu items, He seemed knowledgeable about every item on the menu.

The wine was a generous glass ( Sauvignon Blanc) I had the tomato watermelon salad which was gorgeous, unique, and delicious. My entree was the trout, which was the best trout I ever had. Just melt in your mouth and flavorful. My fried had their burger, which she said was great ad came with fries. The roasted cauliflower she ordered was also a winner.

There was something for everyone on the menu, and the prices reasonable. I only eat seafood or vegetables so there weren't a lot of choices for entrees,,but I wouldn't mind getting the exact meal I had again. I would suggest they had more fish entrees in the future, though. More unique salads like the watermelon one, too.

So 5 stars for atmosphere- a perfect place for talking in a sleek decor.5 stars for the food- scrumptious, and we ate every bite even with generous portions. 5 stars for service- the man who seated us was so pleasant and friendly, making us feel welcome. Roy was outstanding in his knowledge and gave us just the right amount of attention.

I can't wait to go back. I do wish the full menu was offered on the roof.

In a city full of great restaurants, I will come back here. Amazing trout!

We went on a Sunday afternoon a.k.a. brunch time...and we were the only ones there. I thought this was either the perfect day or a sign that this place may not be all that great. Fortunately, it was more of the former than the latter. I'm big on decor, and Briza is too cute! Although I didn't enjoy the smoked salmon sandwich I ordered (I'll stick to having smoked salmon on my sushi rolls from now on), everyone else's meals looked tasty. Our server was friendly and attentive as well. I'll definitely be visiting again!

This visit was this past Aug. I came here originally because it was close to my home and there was a Scoutmob deal.

On the spur of the moment, my friend and I who are both foodies decided on Briza.
We were pleasantly surprised with the food, service and decor. He ordered the chicken, I got duck and both birds were perfectly seasoned and moist NOT oily! When I had asked the server about the wine reduction and cranberry remoulade on my duck he said it would be semi sweet which it was! Both of our drinks were delicious.

Our server gave us an appropriate amount of attention. He KNEW the menu and specials. He wasn't always asking how we were and seemed to be there just when we needed him.

The decor of Briza is simply elegant and beautiful (Think Room & Board showroom meets Modern Reniassance). Our table was a velvet booth with scalloped seating. Suffice to say we had no problem getting the Scoutmob deal. And I was so enchanted with the service and ambiance I decided to have my pre-drinks here for my bday.

The Midtown Renaissance Atlanta's restaurant is a modern meatery, with one hand on the butcher's knife and the other flipping the pages of the classic American cookbook (though global influences pop up not infrequently). Breakfast, lunch and dinner in the refined, elegant space all present approachable fare that's comfortingly hearty.
