Bringing Brooklyn-worthy dimensions to the West Village, this massive, 5,000-sq.-ft.beer hall follows through with a distressed, neo-industrial design that's a mix of exposed brick, communal tables and steel beams galore (it was carved out of a former parking garage); the suds come courtesy of Greenpoint Beer Works, while the crowds – and you should expect crowds – come from all over the place.

This is one of the most spacious beer halls I've ever been to. It has a great atmosphere in the middle of the city. Bring some friends and check it out!

A great deal for beers while watching games on the GIANT screens. Relatively inexpensive and fun place to go with friends for a night of downing beer!

New York City's real biergarten but so much to offer. A great place to go for the sport fans during game times or just to meet up with friends/co-workers for a fun night of happy hour. As the beer is quite good, the food is delectable. The grilled cheese sandwiches or pretzels are a must try.

For the summer nights, there is a door that leads to a rustic hall. During the winter months, this is a great and comforting place to be. Note that the cobblestone floor can be a pain to walk on, especially for ladies in heels and men in dress shoes but it is ALL WORTH IT. VISIT! VISIT! VISIT!

A massive beer hall and brew pub located in the West Village. Always busy the times I've gone on Friday and Saturday nights. Nice low key spot when you want to hang out with your friends. Reasonably priced drinks, multiple stein sizes to choose from when ordering beers. Never had to wait on a line.

Your mileage may vary. I really like this place for after-work drinks and snacks. The beer is all house brew. If you're unsure what to get, the bartenders are helpful. If you come later, there might a cover at the door and it can get very loud and crowded. But this place really shines with a moderate crowd.

As a former police depot, this is a great venue for a beer garden. Great selection of beer on tap. Plenty of benches for seating. Bar area can crowded very quickly. Great for social gatherings, but it can be difficult to hear one another as it can get very noisy. Try the food menu - good cheese sandwich.
