360 Bistro, Nashville, Tennessee Restaurant Details

TL;DR -- Messed up our wedding reception big time. Terrible communication. No leadership, no one took responsibility, no one made it right. Terrible experience.

My bride and I booked the private room at 360 Bistro months in advance for our small wedding reception. We had been there previously to try it out, and their food and service were top notch (if exorbitantly expensive), so we thought it would be a sure thing.
Let me start by saying, anyone who has ever been married or planned a wedding knows that there is so much that goes into it. So much planning, so much money, and when things don't go right it can be heartbreaking. Thus begins the tale of our experience at 360 Bistro.
About a month out from the wedding, my bride calls 360 to just make sure everything is still good to go. They inform us that the person we had been dealing with no longer works there and they have no idea what we are talking about. So we showed the the correspondence between us and them and they agreed to honor the terms. It seemed like crisis was averted. Fast forward to the night of the wedding.
We arrive post-ceremony to find that they had booted us out of the private room. No call, no email, no communication of any kind. They not only did not have us set up in the private room, they put us back in the corner in the server's prep area. They didn't even have enough tables or chairs set up. So here we are, us and our wedding guests wondering what in the heck is happening. Immediately we begin to ask what is going on. The manager never came to us to talk to us. She simply ignored that we were there. The wait staff tried desperately to cover, but they knew it was wrong. They stuffed us in to this tiny corner where I didn't even have enough room to pull the chair out for my bride to sit down.
Appetizers were already supposed to be prepared, they weren't. So all of us had to wait for those. The food was delicious as we knew it would be and the servers, while it appeared that they had never been to a wedding or hosted any sort of party there ever, did an admirable job with the debacle. On top of all of the aforementioned gaffes, they informed us that they would be charging us $2.50 PER SLICE of our own wedding cake that we brought. They then proceeded to take the cake without even asking us and cut it into GIANT pieces. This was a cake made to serve 40-50 people. They cut it into 20 slices. Hundreds of dollars down the drain as no one could finish their cake. To top it off, they did not leave any for my bride and I to have! Imagine having to console your new wife who is in tears over all this, and not a manager in sight to even apologize for confusion.
To end the night we asked for some satisfaction. We were told succinctly that we would not be receiving any sort of discount and were required to pay the full price. After the huge amount of money we spent, one would think we would get at least an apology from the manager. We did not.

As you might imagine, I will not be patronizing their establishment again and will actively encourage others to dine elsewhere.

Food:

While the staff at 360 Bistro was very friendly and accommodating, my party of 6 people all agreed that the food was marginal at best and vastly overpriced even considering its' Belle Meade location. The seating was also very uncomfortable despite being trendy & stylish. It was hardly what we expected after reading the 4.3 star reviews.

Food:

This is a gem of a restaurant. It has a beautiful bar that can be admired and enjoyed while dining in this little jewel box. The food and drink can actually keep pace with the beautiful decor. The service is also great from the kitchen to the wait staff. Their lunch menu is quite a value for the quality and service. A wonderful place to go, relax and dream if only for a few hours.

Accidentally found 360 Bistro through GROUPON, and took my love for his Birthday! I have never written a review. Happily our experience was just so good that here goes my first….
* Atmosphere ~ Perfect, fancy enough but yet quite comfortable. Lighting was soft but not so much that we couldn't see the menu. The decor simple but elegant, with WINE everywhere!

* Food ~ Divine! From appetizers (fried eggplant & corn bisque), entree's exactly as they were ordered (pork tenderloin & filet) with the sides all cohesive and interesting, desert portions were just right and definitely freshly made. Tummies were very happy!

* Service ~ BEST part of everything that was already GOOD! Our waiter was very attentive and helpful with such impressive knowledge of menu and the many wine choices! I love dining at a place that the entire staff is attentive and clearly all working together. That is the vibe there. We were not just a 2 top and a pre-calculated tip for just one server.

ALL in all, we will be back and are looking forward to trying the entire menu, even going for lunch one time soon! So glad they went with GROUPON or I wouldn't have found them!

Food:

Wine at a restaurant is always over priced, but this place pushes that line to the extreme. The sommolier raved about a cult cab, ok, gave it a go, 'meh' it was ok, and if you check cellartracker on it gets a 90 points, hardly something to rave about and my take was only an 89. The food was decent, but again nothing that would make me race back in the door. All said, it was ok, and certainly not worth the price. Staff was friendly enough, no prob with service.
