06/26/2015 9:12 amService was terrible, took forever to receive menus and food, and the risotto was terrible. Our server was a very tall, unfriendly, haughty, disgruntled man, who typically walked off mumbling unpleasantries. We arrived at 8.00 with reservations, did not receive our meal until 9.30. The bread, dessert and the friendly bartender were the only highlights. Not worth the $ |

01/03/2015 7:49 pmIt was good but a bit overpriced in terms of food and service. If I am spending $180 on dinner for two I would expect my server to present the specials/chef tastings and not offer our final course by saying "want do ya'll want for desert?". I thought I was in Applebee's for a second. |

11/18/2014 6:43 amYear after year Jay Swift and team have one of the best restaurants in the Southeast. When we travel I always look and compare to see if I can come up with something better and so far after about 6 years I have nothing better to report from coast to coast. |

07/15/2014 9:00 am5 stars all around -- the food, service, ambiance. We went small plates style and with 6 small plates between 2 people, we were stuffed. The shrimp tempura and corn beignets were amazing and the local mixed greens salad was also great. It sounds like the menu changes everyday so I'd be curious to try what else they come up with on other days. Our server was awesome and she even arranged to have our small plates arrive as courses. I made sure to try the garden district cocktail since I heard other reviewers speak so highly about it. I must say, it lives up to its hype because it's the best cocktail I've had! I'd come back just for that. Overall, we really enjoyed celebrating our anniversary here. They took great care of us. |

08/21/2015 7:03 amWhether for a special occasion or sexy date night, admirers count on this upscale Old Fourth Ward New American thanks to chef-owner Jay Swift's fantastic, fresh seasonal menu, backed by a fabulous drink selection; some say the trendy, industrial space can get noisy, but the friendly staff helps foster a comfortable atmosphere, adding to the memorable experience. |
