Okay i thought ajs roadhouse and hotel would be a good place to let my grandpa stay for 3 weeks.. 200$ a week for a dirty hotel room with no fridge or microwave... still i thought ill clean it to my standards for him... after the first week i went to renew his room and i was there right when they opened and the owner himself took me through the kitchen to the dinning room to take care of me. first off He was rude and used foul language and the restaurant it self smell like sewage and there was nats flying around the kitchen was disgusting. i mean dirty dirty.. like i wouldnt drink a pop out of a can from there... once i paid i went to see my grandpa.. he told and showed me the bites he had all over him... BEDBUG bites... i was so mad i could not go back to the office because i was that hostile... i just want to let the world know what kind of place this is. and not to stay there because you will get bedbugs and im sorry but the hotels connected to the restaurant so they have bedbugs too . so instead of taking left overs home you take bedbugs home... nasty nasty nasty place

I don't know what all these low ratings are for. I LOVE AJ's. I mean, the decor is dated and the crowd is older but the waitresses are so sweet and the food is the BEST!!! I go there all the time so I can't help but think some of these folks went on an off night. I've never seen an off night there. The prices are great and the food is delicious! I've never ordered one thing there that wasn't wonderful! I especially recommend the road house chops and the nachos. The nachos are like $7-$8 and they are huge. The chops are $14 and I always take one home with me. I can't stress enough that this is worth a try. I LOVE it there!

Horrible burger, not great service... They have a $7 burger and a $20 steak - they can't cook at $7 burger, do I really trust them to cook a $20 steak? Decor is awful, there are far better places to go for food than this tired joint...
