An attractive crowd voices approval for these high-end contemporary Italians, where spot-on staffers supply an impressive, pasta-centric menu that's complex but not over the top; the Flatiron original is a civilized oasis off Madison Square, while the more lively Columbus Circle sequel boasts a sweeping view of Central Park.

The food was good but you really need not to be hungry ! In addition they charged twice all the table so it very expensive for just a starter !

Sterile corporate ambience on the third floor of Time Warner Center. Manhattan has such wonderful dining options. Why choose a restaurant that requires walking through an enormous shopping mall? Even if food is fabulous. Which this was not.

For an upscale Italian restaurant, I was pleased to see varying lengths of dress, from suits to jeans, which worked as it was an after-spa dinner. My teammates and I tried a number of dishes, but the standouts include the beef tartare (the best I've ever had), onion spread that comes with the gnocco fritto, linguine pomodoro (keep it simple) and the filet mignon, which comes with a delicious parsley root puree.
The servers are quite attentive and were quick to replace a fishy (yes, fishy) duck dish for us when we all couldn't bear to it it. The wine list was extensive and pricey, but that wasn't a surprise. The coat check, however, leaves a lot to be desired.
While I enjoyed the experience and loved dining while overlooking Columbus Circle, I don't think I'll return, instead choosing to spend big bucks at another establishment for the sake of variety.
