Great service from waitress jackie and the tea man! Wonderful food.cwill definitely go back.

I have been here a couple times and have been satisfied both times with my main meal. There burgers and fries are very good. One of the best burgers I've ever had. There fish and chips are outstanding. Not the "typical" fish and chips, as the fish is a tilapia filet. But the taste is awesome. The breading is a mix between perfect taste and crunch. And the sauce that comes on the side for the fish is really good. I even dipped my fries in it! There sweat tea is very good too! Hard to find well made sweet tea around here. This place could use some work on some of there food though. There mac and cheese is not very good at all. If you are going to use penne pasta, make sure its cooked right. Not sure what type of cheese they are using but it needs to be re-worked. Got fried green tomatoes as a starter and did not care for the taste, I think it was the abundance of capers on the plate. And the tomatoes were a little hard. Bread and butter were good, except you have to pay for that which is weird to me. Should be brought out as a free starter. Also I think there crab soup needs some work. The taste and texture doesnt seem right to me. Also didn't see a dessert menu. I think they can erase some of the beer selections off the chalk board and add a few dessert choices on there. The service is always great though. I think with a little tweaking this could be a 5 star restaurant.

Some of the best sea food in the area! Loved their muscles and oysters. The drinks are very fairly priced and there is a great beer and cider selection

The best Seafood in all of Downtown Norfolk! A.W. Shucks never disappoints and always has a fresh catch menu. Their hush puppies and sweet tea go perfect with their entrees and the servers are all extremely friendly.

My husband took me here 4 Valentines Day because it was different & he was also told the food was good....Well the waitress we had was not good I asked her did any onions come n our food she said no....Once we got our food it was scallons all over our food so we had 2 pick them out b 4 we ate....We only saw our waitress twice the whole time we were there....I had the fried platter it was awful....my husband had the pasta with shrimps it looked like a plate of oddles of noodles....We donated $60 cause we picked over the food the waitress asked us did we need a box I said no just the check....We were very disappointed!!
