Excellent 'New American' eats on Atlanta's Westside. In the Westside Provisions District, Abattoir's easy to miss if you don't know where to look (it's the dark door to the far left, just above the Billy Reid store), but it's worth keeping an eye on. Great cocktail menu, great atmosphere, and a meal my friends and I still talk about!

Great seasonal menu. Outdoor patio was nice. Service was impeccable. Will definitely return.

We celebrated our 20 yr anniversary yesterday and had dinner there. It was fantastic. The pork loin was incredible and the anniversary dessert they surprised us with just put it over the top! We will definitely be back... we loved it!!

The food is inventive cuisine with super fresh ingredients and the cocktails are the absolute pits. As long as you know that, you'll have a great night. Settle in at a table and enjoy the rustic charm of the interior design while you peruse the menu. Though the larger plates are strong, I'd suggest relying on a variety of smaller plates to sample the chef's creativity. Personal favorites include the octopus hotdog and burger topped with bacon jam. Yes, bacon jam. 'Nuff said. #atlantawestside

The bold, hearty whole-animal cuisine at this trendy Westside chophouse from Bacchanalia's Anne Quatrano and Clifford Harrison is a must for adventurous diners; although seating can be tight in the chic industrial surroundings, the atmosphere's relaxed, not stuffy (handsome tabs notwithstanding), making it a nice place for a get-together with friends.|"Whole-animal" dining is "shockingly delicious" but "still accessible" at this "adventurous" Westside American, a meat-centric Bacchanalia sibling that offers a "not-typical", "head-to-tail" menu in an "industrial", "butcher shop–chic" setting that hits the "perfect visual notes" (along with some "loud" ones); its "foodie carnivore" following likes the "relaxed service", "reclaimed wood and repurposed protein" on offer, but it may be a challenge for those who "don't like organ meats."
