08/18/2013 1:00 amIf you have a massive hankering for pizza then come here for a slice! The atmosphere is very casual, which is great for an easy lunch or for taking your kids. The unfortunate part is that smokers lounge outside like a bar. |

09/13/2011 8:15 amOk, everyone here in Boulder has told me that Proto's Pizza was the best. After eating here, I have to strongly disagree. We ran into a "Regional Manager" who's name was Chris Stackpole who was just awful. We decided to give pizza a try here in Boulder and found that the thin crust and tasty cheese pies tossed by Abo's just hit the spot. The staff was okay and the environment was decent, but atleast we didn't have some guy squawking in our ear all night. A job well done. |

08/25/2009 5:48 amThis is the original Abo's and definitely the best of the bunch. Huge slices with great flavor that definitely hit the spot, for lunch or all the way until 2:30 in the morning. I definitely stop in every time I see a show at the Fox Theater, and now Abo's has an awesome microbrew line up too - one of the best in Boulder! |

09/27/2008 3:48 amThe hotel that I'm staying at recommended this place - WOOF! The sauce had NO flavor, the crust had to be a day old (I used to work at a pizza shop), and the cheese, I cannot describe - except to say that I have had vegan cheese that seemed more like real cheese than the "stuff" they threw on my pie. Both my boyfriend and I commented that the cheese, instead of being stringy and gooey, seemed to almost crumble and separate as we chewed it. I have had pizza, not only all over this country, but all over the world, and I can honestly say that I've never experienced cheese like that before. I think that nibbling on the pizza box instead, would have given me greater satisfaction. |
