06/01/2015 2:03 pmWe arrived a bit before noon on a Monday to find the door locked (perhaps accidentally?) However, they let us in, and we enjoyed a nice meal. It's not the absolute greatest Ethiopian food -- I think the food was lacking some spice, but it was solid. (Having lived in the midwest for a while, I'm just glad that Ethiopian food exists here.) The service was good (although there was only one other party there). The portions were on the small side, which was good because I had to work afterwards and didn't want to suffer a food coma. Perhaps the dinner portions are larger. All around, I recommend the restaurant. |

04/09/2015 7:03 pmExcellent food! I would give it 5 stars, but the restaurant ambiance doesn't quite compare to the quality of the cuisine. I'm hooked on the veggie platter, which is a generous serving of green beans, collards, red lentils, yellow lentils, house salad with delicious vinegar-y dressing, all served up on delicious injera. We get take out pretty regularly. Don't overlook this gem tucked away in Mission Valley. |

Also didnt even bother to ask for water... We asked for it but never got it... My friend's dish did not have salt... The server never came to our table for us to ask for it.... N it was a slow Sunday night.... |

11/15/2014 8:39 pmSomething different from the usual. Try doro (chicken) wat with vege combo. These will give enough flavors. Great for family. Also great for a date night. If you like Indian food, you would not mind the taste. We tried Catagna, really tasty appetizer. Little spicy, but wonderful. |
