02/06/2012 6:29 amIt was a nice little place but unfortunately the owners son disrespected an Army veteran and was arrogant to the extent that the both of us had to leave in order to avoid confrontation during the superbowl. Will never go back again hopefully his father will be able to control his son some day but for now its the other way around. Don't let this happen to you there are more professional places to spend ur money. |

06/19/2008 4:01 amIn Aces defense, I will say that one of my roommates doesn't mind the place very much. I on the other hand think Aces stinks. I have tried their pizza, and don't bother. It was awful cheese covered cardboard. Gave the place another try and got their shrimp Alfredo. Shrimp was awful overcooked, and the alferdo sauce...forget it. An awful separated mess of oil, cream, and cheese. Last time I tried the place I got plain ol' regular spaghetti. Thought they couldn't mess this up, but I was wrong. The pasta was overcooked like nobody's business and the sauce was bad. Not awful, but not enjoyable either. Oh, my roommate got wings once and they were not that bad...I could eat them. Although if you live on the side of town you might as well go to Buffalo Wild Wing, Bomas, or any of the other bars in the neighborhood. If you really have an itch for Italian food, maybe try the place in the Vons Plaza on Durango. I hear its ok, but haven't tried it yet. Either way, stay clear of Aces unless you want to be disappointed. |
