Having a vegan and non-vegen family this place was great, it works for both. Food was fresh and the service great.

I was visiting San Antonio and was looking for something that wouldn't leave me feeling quite heavy. When I read that Adelante cooked the food with less salt, I was intrigued. I don't cook with much salt and most restaurant food is overly salted. I enjoyed the change from the usual mexican food and was pleased with the friendly and fast service.

Adelante's is our favorite restaurant. I am vegetarian but my husband is not. We both really enjoy everything we order every time. I have never ordered anything that turned out to be bland. Yes we do sometimes add salt but adding salt after food is cooked is way healthier than eating food already full of salt. We will return many times and take our friends.
