Beautifully intimate locale with well spoken and professional service and consistent authentic fare! Bite Squad delivery is a wonderful convenience. Highly recommended Mexican cuisine amongst the other greats in NE

Got off work late one night scrambling to find a place to eat. This was the only place open on central so I didn't have any other options. Walked in and waitress was closing up shop but immediately stopped what she was doing to greet me. Placed an order to go and had a modelo while I waited. Food was fabulous. Now this is my go to Mexican food restraunt in NE.

I ordered nachos with no pico de gallo and no onions.I still got onions and some Pico on my plate.so I sent it back,wen I got the second plate...it was still the same plate I got the first time!so I didn't get to eat anything for my birthday dinner...I have to find a different Mexican restaurant!this was my favorite as we've been coming only here for years...this is not the first time my order has been Not what I ordered...

Used to LOVE this place, I still love their horchata. And their soups r still pretty good BUT lately their food is getting less and less good. Last time i was there. The carne azada for my tacos didnt taste azada at all! and the steak in our fajitas too it just tasted fried in a pan with salt i could make it better at home myself. It used to have a nice grilled flavor. Now its so plain. And there wasnt even enough cheese in our quesadilla to hold the tortillas together isnt a quesadilla supposed to b cheesy?. I will try again hoping their cook can step up his game! If not we will need to find a new spot!

I don't usually bother to write reviews, but I think I need to post an update, here. If service has been a problem at Adelitas in the past, then a change has come to the restaurant.
I was welcomed when I entered, and the waitress came to my table immediately. The wait staff was friendly and courteous, and constantly circulating the dining room (which is spacious and pleasant). My waitress stopped by so often, it was almost humorous. But, I'd rather have extra attention than not enough! There was also a "Hiring Waitresses" sign outside.
This was my first visit. I add my endorsement to those of others. Delicious food. My enchiladas came quickly and were tasty. They serve a salsa with the chips that was the freshest, and mildest, I've ever had. Even the coffee was good (served in a huge cup). I'll be back.
By the way, it's a mistake to associate spicy-hot entrees with authentic Mexican cuisine. A lot of the food is mild until you hit it with the sauces!
