04/08/2015 7:59 pmCome on fellas, you got ChaChaCha right across the street. If you don't up your game your gonna go bust. You served me a fish taco composed of an oily tortilla, a piece of fried fish, five diced tomatoes, and a little bit of lettuce. Service was bad also. The guy stood at a table having a conversation while the food was called through twice while it sat there getting cold. Yall need a makeover! |

09/04/2014 3:40 pmThis place has been in Sellwood a while now, its a small friendly place to have some Tex-Mex food tasting meals. The staff are friendly. I personally do not like Cilantro and this is one of their main ingredients. Their food is great and I recommend it. |

08/11/2014 7:52 pmAbsolutely love this place. I am originally from New Mexico and have tried numerous restaurants around Portland and none have come close to the authenticity of Adobe Rose. Nice to have a restaurant that knows what real green chile is!! |

04/04/2014 1:24 amWe've been dining at the Adobe Rose Café for about 27 years now, and we still get excited when we see green chile stew on the specials board...or posole...or sopa de lima (I'm assuming I'm spelling these delights correctly!). Sometimes we work late and pop in for a quick dinner and a margarita...a great ending to a long day. Other times we haven't had time for lunch, so we're starving by 5:00 and waiting at the door when they open, dying for chile con queso and enchiladas with their legendary red chile sauce. And a margarita. Or two. It's just a perfectly great restaurant with wonderful New Mexican cuisine. And, they're open for lunch also. And, don't miss the natillas for dessert. |
