I really like the atmosphere of the Areo Club and the drinks done well. The place is a bit cramped so don't go if you can't stand a crowd. The pool tables make it very social and the people are very talkative. Been here a few times and always look forward to the next visit once it hits the schedule!

Do you like Whiskey? Then get yourself down to Aero Club. This is an old town pilot bar that has so many whiskey's they have a 67 page book to help you find your way. They also have all the other drinks under the sun that one could want but you must go here for the whiskey. While the place is old, it has a certain charm all to itself that you know its original and has a great history. The prices are very good, even for some very fine whiskey's. I highly recommend that you find a night to have an uber drop you here for several hours while you taste your way through their whiskey collection.

I love this place! It's like a dive bar version of Seven Grand. Or really, since Aero Club was here first, and they have more whiskey (750+ now!), Seven Grand is the more upscale version of Aero Club. If the whiskey selection isn't enough to entice you, they also have a juke box, two pool tables, and an amazing staff -- Bill, the owner, is very welcoming.

Absolute amazing whiskey selection and the bartenders are very knowledgeable. The book of whiskey they put in front of you is a little overwhelming. I prefer to the let the bartender know my price range and I let them pick one out for me. They always find something I have never tried before and I am never disappointed.

All around great dive bar

I love my neighborhood whisky bar! Its dark enough to be low key (hence I've been by in my stretch pants. ..) there is a back patio to smoke or get fresh air or make new friends and acquaintances. The selection of whiskeys is amazing, I have yet to scratch the surface because I order my favorite Oregon young whiskey Ransom -Whippersnapper everytime. If you like dark spaces with interesting conversations and a plethora of whiskeys to choose from do pay a visit, if you are worried about rubbing elbows with the dark and danger of whiskey lovers, you do not "Pass Go"

It's "not fancy but the wall of whiskey is unbeatable" say fans of this "comfortable", "low-key" "dive bar" hard by the airport stocking enough scotch, bourbon and rye (800-plus varieties) "to calm any traveler's [or local's] shaky nerves"; "professional", "friendly" bartenders keep the brown stuff flowing, pool tables provide some entertainment and the aeronautical decor is rife with "historical stuff, so it feels like learning."
