04/21/2013 1:06 pmThe food here is yummy but overpriced. We ordered pita and hummus and got only 4 pieces of pita and maybe 1/2 c of hummus for $7. The dinner entrees were quite good, but $17 avg price per plate is really steep. Dessert was the best part of the meal--$4 for tira misu cheesecake or the lemon poppyseed cake. Drink specials were decent--$14 for a bottle of wine on special. Service was unimpressive, I had an empty water glass for most of the meal and the server seemed to be in a stern mood. Probably will not go again unless they lower their prices or serve larger portions. |

05/01/2012 7:39 amI found the decor of Aesop's Tables to be very cold and "temporary" looking; their cheap and tiny round tables are poorly arranged. Chairs are very uncomfortable. The menus are sloppy and unprofessional looking. Last night, service was very very slow, for no obvious reason. The salad I ordered was very good, but the overall experience will not bring me back. I find it hard to believe this place has been around as long as it has. |

01/03/2012 12:13 pmMy wife is vegetarian and I found this place online and decided to try it. Don't do it! The food was horrible and so was the service. |

12/17/2011 9:55 amMy friends and I were out on a Friday night scouting for a place to dine before going to the theater. We popped into Aesops and they were ready to accommodate our party of five IF we were willing to FOREGO the dinner menu and order only soup, salad, or a sandwich because the kitchen staff was so backed up! We were insulted and fortunate that Mesh (across the street) could meet our needs and did not ask us to compromise our ordering. We take responsibility for our poor time management. |
