02/08/2016 4:18 am"Creative" "well-above-average sushi creations" are a "touch pricey, but worth it" at this Uptown Japanese where the "large bar turns out delicious cocktails" along with a "great selection of sake and Japanese beers" and the "surreal decor" makes "you feel as though you are eating in an aquarium"; "helpful" service is another plus, leading fans to crown it a "godsend" to the "embattled neighborhood"; P.S. it's "perfect for pre-Riviera concerts or a trip to the Green Mill for jazz." |

09/19/2015 12:26 amThe sushi came to our table lukewarm. Every roll we ordered seemed to somehow incorporate mayonnaise, despite mayo not being listed as one of the ingredients on the menu. Don't be tempted by the rice krispy roll. The modern decor was much more palatable than the modernized sushi. We were seated in our own little bubble booth that was very cozy and private. |

09/07/2015 3:51 amThe music was very soothing and went great with the atmosphere. For appetizer I ordered the calamari and it was super fresh and delicious. We ordered the King Kong, mini Godzilla, windy Chicago, and dragon holic Agami basic and Specialty Rolls. The dragon holic was my favorite and next was the mini Godzilla because it had fresh spicy salmon on top of it. We ordered too much and asked for a box and they wrapped it up for me. We got green tea ice cream for desert. Not the tempura ice cream which was an option for $3 more then regular but the regular one is my fave so wanted to try. It was delicious. Will recommend to everyone. Used a groupon also so saved some money. |

02/11/2014 11:05 pmI've lived in the area for a few years and decided to finally check the place out since there was a Groupon for it. Agami looked like it would be an expensive place, so I've always avoided it. The interior was really nice. I was actually surprised at how nice and spacious it was...it seems like a restaurant you'd find downtown. My dining partner and I were seated at a booth in front of the sushi bar and noise levels were at a minimum. |
