This is a horrible place to eat,waiting time for a Cuban Sandwich almost an hour,then comes out cold, no pork, a slice of cheese sliced in half, ham tasted bad,rotten. Meanwhile customers that came and ordered after were being served. Horrible. No star for this place one star will be too much. Sorry gave an extra star by mistake.

Not a "traditional" Cuban sandwich since it has tomato lettuce and mayo but still a good sandwich. The pulled pork they put on it was pretty good!

best steak sandwich; awesome cuban sandwich; chicken soup was solo good and loaded with chicken. service out of this world. i can't get enough and the atmosphere is fantastic ;)

Did a little research for "best cuban sandwich in Tampa," this gem came up first. Man Vs. Food filmed part of an episode here, so there was a lot of hype. Aguila lived up to it. The Cuban Sandwich was delicious, and the Cuban coffee was whag us was supposed to be. Definitely coming back.

I had the best Cuban sandwich that I have ever had today. The bread was fresh and it was filled with meat that was extremely favorful. And the price of a 12 inch Cuban is only $6.95! I ate half there and took the other half home for dinner. We also had sweet plaintains. For a plate of 8 big plaintains, it is only $2.95. The owner of the restaurant, comes out of the kitchen and talks to every one in the restaurant. He is extremely friendly and helpful. If there is anything wrong, he gets it fixed right away. It is no wonder that Aguila Sandwich Shop is doing so well. The place was packed at 2:45pm on a Saturday afternoon. My husband and I will be going back on a regular basis.
