I was hugely disappointed in my evening dining experience at Aixois. The food was dull, plain, ordinary and had nothing whatsoever to do with French cuisine. The salad was old, the mussels tasteless, and the seafood crepe was like an old $5 fish taco. The bread shouldn't even be fed to pigeons. The service was extremely poor to intolerable, particularly given the lofty price point of the meal. The house wine was insipid and vastly overpriced. The environment was unacceptably noisy in an overcrowded harsh setting. I had to raise my voice to be heard by my date at a table for two. Unfortunately, we deeply regret our choice to dine at Aixois. We did not get anything close to a pleasant dining experience and will not return even if the prices were halved. I don't know how they are still in business.

Very, very pleasant experience here, it was our first time trying it out and will definitely be back in the future! The French 75 is a perfect gin cocktail for anything you get there :)

Set up a business meeting on their cafe side and turned out to be a great place to chat. Their chai latte was very delicious!

One of my favorite cafes in KC. The coffee is good, the food is great, and the prices are decent. Aixois also has a good selection of wines to pair with their dinners. Be sure to go for Sunday brunch. While they do have space for large groups, I think they prefer to keep the group size smaller. Wifi is also available.

I've had a wonderful experience here every time I've gone (and I've been visiting for over ten years now). People are usually quick to post negative reviews and forget to post positive ones - this place has long since deserved five stars from me.
