Food:
10/11/2012 2:33 amThe food was good, however the bill was a bit steep; two rather typical rolls and a beer ran me around $31 (pre-tip). There are several higher end sushi joints that match the quality and more than beat the price. I'll not be going back in the immediate future. |

10/05/2010 4:37 amHidden yes, small yes, but great food and a real find in the area just 1 block from the convention center. |
Food:
02/19/2009 4:35 pmIt is tucked away next between the exotic shop and the exotic dancers. The food is good, the service excellent, and the prices average-high. There isnt' much room inside, so lunch can get crowded. It does seem there are some ESL regulars, suggesting the food is of good quality. |
Food:
07/30/2008 8:00 pmdelicious butter yaki scallops and unagi nigiri; seafood all very fresh; good service; always busy. |

08/07/2015 10:39 am"Diners are greeted with a high-volume shout" and "big smiles" at this Ala Moana "hole-in-the-wall" that's "as authentically Japanese as its namesake district of Tokyo", serving "some of the best sushi on the planet" and "perfectly cooked" fin fare; " its inconspicuous location", "oddly tucked between a couple of strip joints", and "late hours make it the perfect choice" for a "conspiratorial" rendezvous, but there's "limited seating so call for reservations." |
