One of the hallmarks of authentic sushi is that rice is seasoned with fish-stock, sugar, and vinegar. Theirs was most definitely not seasoned at all, with just plain rice. Flavor was off by a mile. The rolls were a little loose and uneven, a sign of someone who is just learning how to make sushi. I should know- It looked like the first rolls I ever made. Rainbow roll was inexpensive. Now I know why, What they served would not be recognized as a rainbow roll anywhere else on the planet. It is normally a California roll with tuna, salmon, avocado, and shrimp wrapped most of the way around it. They re-wrap it with plastic wrap, and roll it again for a smooth solid appearance. This had some sort of tempura thing in it, not a California roll, and was rough-hewn with small thick chunks of fish on top. Not sure why they would have put eel on a rainbow roll. Appearance was awful. Thought they might have given me a dragon roll by accident, but others at our table who ordered rainbow roll got the same weird thing.

Service was very odd. We all ordered dinners together. They brought the dinners to the table one at a time. I finished mine, and the last plate was delivered to another in our party 20 minutes later.

On the positive side, we left full and the beer was cheap.

Pleasantly delicious food; simple, clean, and efficient Japanese atmosphere; service so kind and caring that it was refreshing - you could tell they appreciate your business and take pride in their food and establishment.

I got Hibachi Chicken and hot sake. The chicken had the best flavoring I have ever tasted hibachi style and cooked to perfection. I didn't even want to dip it in the white sauce because I was scared it would ruin it. I'm glad I did though. They have really perfected their craft. My salad was fresh and crispy. The Miso souo was hot but not scaulding. The sake was great.

After reading the reviews, I was skeptical but took a chance. I'll be going back this week, bringing friends, and I'll be bringing my family here regularly when we relocate here in the summer.

I travel in and out of Greensboro weekly. I have been many places, all of the favorites that locals will tell you to try. This one never made the list. After tonight, this is my favorite restaurant in Greensboro to date. If you are traveling in on business, this is a MUST try. I can't say enough good things.

Amazing little place! :) My husband and I stopped in on a Thursday night for dinner around 6:30p. The food was delicious! The people who own the place are this sweet couple, the man is also the sushi chef and he does an incredible job! We ordered hibatchi plates and the portions were so big that both of us ate leftovers the next day for lunch. The food was SO affordable, and you get so much! Each plate comes with a side of Miso soup and a salad. The food was fresh, and the service was great. This is such a great find, we plan to go back frequently!
