I love the steaks at Al Biernat’s but cannot stand the people. It a quandary I know… The several times I have been there the bar is stacked three deep, they have a wait for my reservation, and the place is LOUD. Despite this, the service is always good, drinks are strong and food is great. I do feel for the poor wait staff, I am sure they are torn between a slammed busy dining room (more tip volume and grumpy patrons) and having fewer tables and turns each night. They have a great, large wine list that will easily humble all but the wealthiest of Dallas’s real housewives. The lamb chop (Colorado lamb) and porterhouse for two are marquee dinner items not to be missed. For those with F&*K you money there is even a true A5 Kobe section, but that is just silly expensive. Either go during off peak times, or bring your earplugs, there is a good reason Al Biernat’s is at the top of Dallas steak house list.

Nothing beats a bone in prime rib from this place. Mac'n cheese, exsqueeze me, yes please. Also a great wine selection to boot. Don't forget your car if you drive. Service second to none!

Awesome steak house! I got the bone in prime rib and it was amazing! Just how I ordered it and huge. It was as big as the plate and just fantastic! The Chilean sea bass with lobster risotto was also killer! The petite filet was melt in your mouth and able to be cut with a fork good! We got the smashed potatoes, and creamed corn! Best creamed corn in Dallas! Awesome place! Just great all around!

This was the best steak...I've had in my whole life! Ask for the Beef Wellington...it's not on the menu, but the chef gladly prepared the amazing meal for us and then came out to visit the table! Also, Rock....our server, was phenomenal. I can't praise this restaurant enough. We went for our 2 year anniversary and want to come back every year! What an experience.

This is the place to be for New Year's Eve! We are in town for a visit and looked up this place to celebrate our anniversary and ring in the new year. It was an excellent choice. We ordered the Chilean Sea Bass and Lobster Risotto. My husband ordered the steak and a Mac and Cheese. He thoroughly enjoyed the steak. The Mac and Cheese was divine! In addition to great food, the service and all the wait staff were super attentive and personable. An excellent dining experience. We will return when next in Dallas.
