Pizza is delicious! We tried the mussels once that were also really good. Ordered delivery and didn't receive our side of meatballs or one of the topping we asked for and they have us a whole new pizza! No extra charge. Great service.

Not a real Italian pizza (I'm Italian!) especially as regards toppings but yummy anyway and quite cheap compared to other Italian restaurants in NYC. Outside tables are great in Spring or Summer for the UES residents.
We did not try the pastas or appetizers but the combinations did not sound much Italian or on the contrary were too ordinary for us... Nice place, family friendly.

ATOMOSPHERE: COZY
There's a giant fire burning in the back, which makes the whole restaurant seem cozy.

PIZZA: TOPS!
They use real white mozerella, and the pepperoni's are the best I've ever had anywhere in the world.

SALAD: Recommended.
They have an italian salad with shaved moz, carrots, artichokes, olives, and peppers that's fantastic start to any meal. Get a small, and split it two ways.

Pasta: ample.
There's ample tasty pasta dishes for non-pizza eaters.

Bread and oil: every meal.
The bread and oil free serviving before the meal is very tasty because the rolls are baked fresh and it's not that crappy sourdough.

PRICE: VERY FAIR!
Don't expect this pizza to be $8 for a large, but considering it's a 99 percentile pizza, the value is excellent. With cokes as drinks, the bill for small salad and small pizza for two came to $36 (Dec '07), and we left 100% full and satisfied, very close to stuffed.
