If you love fish, you'll love this place. Pick your own fish, sauce and method of cooking. For a reasonable price of $15, you'll receive some delicious tasting food. We will certainly be back. Pleasant ambiance with very friendly and patient waiters.

We came in from Arizona and was looking for a local, neighborhood favorite. Thanks to Google & YELP we decided to give this a try on a Wednesday night. What a GREAT place! What a DELICIOUS meal!

The Tuna Tar Carpaccio was light and tasty. Crab cakes with lobster sauce was not too heavy with much flavor! We look forward to our next visit!

Great spot for a mid-week seafood meal. It's a simple concept - choose your fish, the way you want it prepared, and the sauce/seasoning. Then your sides and you're set. They also have no corkage on Wednesdays, so makes for a great mid-week meal when you don't want to cook, or meeting friends for a casual meal.

THIS WAS ONE OF THE MOST PLEASANT SURPRISES IN ALL OUR SAN FRANCISCO DINING EXPERIENCES. THE FOOD IS FRESH, WELL PREPARED AND PRESENTED. IT'S CHEAP AND COMES WITH LARGE PORTIONS, AN UNHEARD OF COMBINATIONS.
THE ONLY DRAWBACK IS A LACKLUSTER WINE LIST'
WE RECCOMEND THE CRAB CAKES AND ANY OF THE FISH SPECIALS, GRILLED WITH THE SAUCE ON THE SIDE.

French fare, including "fresh" fish cooked just "the way you like" and served "with the sauce of your choice" by a "welcoming staff", keeps this Alamo Square bistro "crowded"; the daily early-bird prix fixe delivers lots of "bang for the buck", compensating for the "cozy" confines.
