There are "enough photos of nuns to make any lapsed Catholic feel guilty (or at least giggle)" mixed in with other "campy" religious ephemera at this late-night, "laid-back" "neighborhood" watering hole in Fells Point; the taps are loaded with "prime" suds and helmed by "personable" bartenders, and the cheap eats provide a "fun twist on classic pub fare" (multiple styles of tater tots, Krispy Kreme bread pudding).

I love this place. Its hand down my goto place for dinner. Their sandwiches are huge, and their brunch is equally as amazing. I highly recommend it

Worst dining experience. This neighborhood favorite has been a favorite or ours for years. But tonight ended that experience for us forever. The service was un-attentive and frankly terrible. They didn’t bring out our entrees together and after waiting 10 minutes more for my wife’s meal we called over our server who said “we’re really busy in the kitchen and very busy tonight”. It was a Thursday night about 9:30pm with lots of open tables. Of my mussels order several of the mussels had not been cooked enough to open. The Caesar Salad was odd tasting and drowning in dressing. We finally cancelled my wife’s entrée, which they “generously” said they would not charge us for. We asked to speak with the manager who turned out to be our server. So, no one was in charge. Do not waste a good evening in Fells Point at Ale Mary’s. There are lots of wonderful other restaurant choices.

Fish and tots? More like underdone fish sticks and this morning's tots. Couldn't finish and I eat everything. Beers cold!
