Miserable experience. Don't waste your money. Food was overpriced and tasted like it was brought out of a freezer and heated up.

"Bloomfield Italian": your choice of marinara sweeter than ketchup or piled high with cheese and butter.

Food and service are very good. A little overpriced, though. However, the portions are huge, so if you take the leftovers home, it's reasonable.

I'm not sure why this is voted the best Italian place in Pittsburgh - I could go and grab a frozen dinner from Giant Eagle for a fraction of the price and have it be better than this was. Go to Piccolo Forno in Lawrenceville or Girasole in Shadyside...might be a little more but its worth it to have FRESH GOOD food. Oh, and the salads came out with plastic wrap on them - meaning they have been sitting in a refrigerator for who knows how long...
