Food:

Really chill place. I go here all the time primarily because it's close to my house and it has never disappointed. Good drinks and a relaxed environment. Oh, and the food is awesome! They have a consolidated menu, which is positive for me because I am not personally a fan of lengthy overwhelming menus. If you're ever to stop by, be sure to check out the kogi sliders & kogi tacos!

Food:

I am completely addicted to the kimchi here. In fact, I crave it. It's absolutely ridiculous good. The rest of the food is also. We've never had a bad meal here.

We generally get to go as this place can be a bit of a scene. Parking is tough, so be prepared to drive around a bit.

The staff is friendly enough. Nobody really stands out but I don't have a particular complaint about anyone. I once asked for a huge amount of kimchi and the kitchen/food runner were very cool about it and hooked me up quite nicely.

Great beer menu - many great choices.

Overall, I highly recommend the food. You must try the kimchi! Did I mention that?

What I liked: the Kogi and Chego options on the menu.
What I loved: that it's a fun place for after-work, late night weekends, or happy hour.
What could be better: it's pretty happenin' even on a mid-weekday night; sometimes, it could be hard to find seats. With that said, the noise level, too.

AMBIENCE
The dark, textured stone exterior is marked with a neon 'Alibi' sign. The interior vibrates with a trendy feel - one wouldn't be able to tell from the street.

Like a lot of hip bars / lounges, the noise level isn't low so don't expect to hold intimate conversations unless you can project them to your neighbors. Just grab a special cocktail or opt for a beer and enjoy some good eats via Kogi Korean BBQ & Chego!

FOOD
* Kogi Three Taco Combo: corn tortilla, slaw, cilantro, onions, salsa roja, choice of short rib, bbq chicken, spicy pork, or tofu - $7. A really popular choice.

* Calamari tacos: grilled calamari with sweet chili sauce on soft tortillas. Much more spicy than sweet - good if you enjoy a kick! $7. Comes with 2.

* Sour Cream Hen House Bowl: marinated grilled chicken (if you're vegg, ask for tofu), rice, fried egg, Chinese broccoli, sour cream sambal, Thai basil, toasted sesame, red jalapeno - $9. Not a light dish, but so scrumptious.

* Chef Roy's Weekly Specials: always delicious - keep your eyes peeled!

PARKING
Washington Blvd. or side streets.

Food:

Great way to get food from the Kogi Truck without stalking it down or waiting in line! It opens late (dinner time) and it is closed on Sunday. If you're coming after 10, be prepared to show your ID at the door!

I haven't been here yet for reasons other than to grab food to-go. But might check it out soon :)

Food:

We live about a few blocks away from Alibi room. For all of you that don't know, this is the brick and mortar store for Kogi truck. Everything in the truck's menu is on here plus a wide selection of beers and alcohol. I normally avoid this place on the weekends and it is hard to find a seat at the bar. However I can see why it's so popular. The food is delicious and cheap. Crowd is cool and mellow. There is street parking as the small lot is normally always filled up.
