Alice and Friends is a great place to take your carnivore friends or even people who are new to vegetarian/veganism. It will open their eyes! Many of the dishes do include some kind of faux meat, but it is indescribably tasty with great texture. Ingredients are fresh. Prices are low. Portions are great. 99% vegan cuisine (clearly marked in menu). Faux cheesecake would fool even your grandma who wins the "Cheesecake Festival Blue Ribbon" each year. I only wish they gave bigger slices. I crave just about everything on the menu. Don't let the strange atmosphere be a deterrent. Yes, there is something about the 'Grand Master' and other such cultish stuff. But no one is out to convert you there. Just great food, informal ambiance and happy bellies!
