Over priced and not good.

Delivery was really slow and I didn't like the pizza that much. The sandwiches were better.

Well y'know, it's pretty fracking hard to screw-up a pizza and for thirty bucks they had better not! I double-dog dare you to go into this place and spend at least fiddy for a party of four. (remember, we are only talking about a damn PIZZA here!)

I have ordered a few pizzas from All-Purpose in the past year or so and each subsequent time I ask myself why? Why spend $30 for a pizza with uncooked dough? Honestly, my rating of the place would jump to a solid 4 stars if they could figure out how to cook the dough thoroughly. The toppings are good, the atmosphere of the restaurant seems nice (though empty), and the service seems good. Unfortunately, these things are meaningless to me now, because I refuse to eat any more raw dough. At least with Papa Murphy's the dough is supposed to be raw.

OK, I wanted to like this place. We had driven by and it was on our list of places to try. We like to support local places but will not be visiting this place in any near future.

Ok, 6PM on a Sunday is asking for a certain type of customer.
But here is what we found:
A sidewalk filled with screaming kids running up and down in front of the "restaurant".

Fine, looks like a restaurant with some happy customers….

Almost immediately the parents(?) opened up the doors so they could “hear” their kids and have the kids constantly running in and out of the restaurant. The employees left the doors open and did nothing with the kids except dodge them as they tried to deliver the meals and pitchers to patrons.

The service was slow and haggard.

The salad was large sized and tasty, at least I thought so, but it was so loud I could not confirm that with my partner, who sat 3 feet from me.

The pizza had good toppings but not worth the price. The drinks were a bit expensive for a pizza joint, but they were not discounted (see below for how to get the alcohol discounts).

In the 15 (or whatever) minutes we were there before we couldn’t take it any more and asked to have our pizza boxed when completed (we hadn’t received it yet, but we did have a drink and a salad), two other groups sat down and subsequently left before ordering. And in case you might think it was one large birthday party, the tables appeared to be filled with unrelated families, except for one larger group at one side of the “restaurant”, so it cannot be a one off thing.

The “restaurant” is designed to cater to this market, so I am assuming they are happy as clams with what they have going here. The Beer pitcher prices are half price as long as you buy more than 25$ of their meals; very easy as the pizza is expensive by most peoples standards. Monday nights have the same deal for wine but only Monday nights. In this way they are designed to provide the one escape for families to get out for a night and meet with other friends that also have kids and need a few pitchers of beer.

It apparently is working for the place as most of the tables were filled with two parents and two kids. With every table having screaming kids, don’t expect to have any sort of meaningful conversation. The location is the typical brick and cement construction without any sort of soundproofing. This coupled with the shrieks and screams of kids being in a place where the rules they have to follow at home are not enforced, means a great time for parents looking for a break with a pitcher of good beer at a discounted price, but anyone else will not be believing what is going on.

If you need an evening of unsupervised mayhem for your kids while you get a couple of pitchers of beer with other friends in the same boat, this is your place. For the general public without that goal, it is a expensive, marginal pizza in a day care center without supervision….

If this is top 100 in Seattle, .... well, that is just not possible....
