Not only do they provide us with our refrigeration and freezer needs, but also with our conventional oven, shelving, fryer, grill, and many other equipment needs for catering services. I highly recommend Allegheny Refrigeration and their services. My employer has utilized their products and services for over twenty years. I have been the main contact with ARS for over ten years and they have never let me down. We purchase 40+ pieces of equipment from them annually. With that much equipment, difficulties with the units (even brand new) do occur from time to time, albeit rarely. ARS is always highly responsive when a problem does arise. They have constantly represented our company professionally to our customers when delivering or servicing equipment. Their attitude toward customer satisfaction is refreshing in this day and age.

Very knowledgeable! Opening a new restaurant is not as easy as I thought and I definitely shopped around before I made any purchases. My sales rep at Allegheny helped us design our kitchen in an efficient and cost effective way. He was very hands on and handled some problems that we ran into. Their suggestions were helpful and saved us money. Highly recommend!

My VFW purchased a Hoshizaki Ice Maker from Allegheny Refrigeration Sales Co. Inc., model no.

AM150BAF and the compressor went bad, necessitating its replacement. The ice machine worked for

10 hours from 1PM to 11 PM and then something burned up. This company attempted to blame the

problem on "insufficient electrical supply" which is so absurd it defies all logic. (The ice

machine was connected to a normal 120 volt convenience outlet). Further troubleshooting showed

that the lines are clogged, analogous to clogged arteries in a human. This company refused to

replace the defective ice machine which was purchased some 9 months ago for around $1,800. I

would not recommend doing business with them. Also please note that they have no Better Business

Bureau accreditation.
