Wicker Parkers "treat an aching sweet tooth" with "excellent" whimsically decorated cupcakes, "custom" cookies and "gorgeous" specialty cakes plus "delicious macarons" and European pastries at this "charming" neighborhood bakery/cafe (with a River North sequel); the "friendly" staff does a "great job" making coffee drinks, and with a "cute patio" and separate WiFi'd study room, you don't have to wait till you're home to sigh, "delish."

Food:

I ordered a cake for my cousin's birthday. Everything had to be confirmed by email and phone because I live in San Francisco. Unfortunately I placed the order for the wrong pick up date! That was my bad, so my cousin didn't get her Tiffany Box Cake but I got my money refunded today (10% was charged.) Anyways, thank you for being kind and making it easy to order and cancel from miles away. I hope to order a cake and actually get to eat it on another occasion.

Unbelievably Amazing experience!!! I ordered a Birthday cake for my husband who happens to be an attorney down the street from Alliance Bakery and they delivered the most Beautiful, Judicial cake I have ever seen. It was mind blowing and tasted as good as it looked! Thank you Alliance for your artistry and detail to design. I loved it and will always place future orders with you. All the Best, Cherie Lauer

Had a specialty birthday cake made for my boyfriend's 30th. I brought them my idea and they delivered way beyond my expectations (which were high to begin with -- have you SEEN the cakes in their window?). Not only did the design come out great, the cake tasted good too. The staff was very friendly easy to work with. I also snagged a chocolate praline cronut while I was waiting for them to package up the cake -- delicious. Highly recommend, especially for specialty cakes!

Alliance Bakery made our day!! We ordered a two-tier cake for our baby shower recently and they churned out the most beautiful cake that looked like an art form. I sent them a pic to use as a reference and they made the cake to match the pic to the dot. I called all the custom cake shops in Chicago and they had the best rate. I saved a portion of the cake decoration as a remembrance.

My cake was delicious. OMG! Best cake I ever had. Thank you. This cake was the highlight of my birthday. I ordered a 10 round. Chocolate Meringue frosting, lemon, vanilla and chocolate layered. With one layer of lemon curd and the bottom layer with strawberry perserve. It was so fresh and yummy. Thank you!
