Normally do not write reviews but we heard so many great things that the food was amazing. Few days ago an employee dropped off a flyer and said they would deliver. Ordered 2 Big Tex - 3 meats with ribs, brisket and puller pork. Sides were cole slaw, beans, nanny corn and potato salad. ETA 20 min delivery...took about 45 minutes. First off I can not call those "ribs" that I ate. Brisket and pulled pork had no flavor until adding the sauce provided. "creamy cole slaw" was not creamy..was more like a salad. potato salad tasted like straight vinegar could not take more than 1 bite. BUT the Nanny corn was pretty awesome, the only good thing that we got. Cant say will never get food their again but will definitely be a long time until I do. Maybe the cooks were having a bad day but that's no excuse on a Friday or any day. Im just glad my boss talked me out of getting a 1/2 rack of ribs because I would have gone hungry..

June 11, 2015 Update:

I've become a regular at Allison's Texas BBQ and usually just order a pound of brisket to go. A while back, Len had me try something he recently came up with... smoked jalapeno sausage. I'll tell you what....it's outstanding! Just the right amount of spicy smokiness!

So now when I pop in to talk a little Texas Football, I get my brisket and several links of that fantastic jalapeno sausage! Dang Len, "my usual" is getting better and better all the time buddy!

Stopped in hoping for real Texas BBQ and found it!! Had Len fix me up with some burnt ends and beans and man, was it great! Even ran into some Red Raider fans who I traded friendly barbs with!

Len and Brent, great job you guys! See y'all real soon!

Horrible customer service. I went in for lunch and they weren't extremely busy. I waited at the front counter to have my order taken for at least five minutes. The employee bringing out the food looked me directly in the eye and didn't even acknowledge me. Also, the guy in the back saw me at the counter and didn't even bother saying a word.

Pros:
-Excellent, lean, tender pulled pork. Seriously, I was blown away how good it is. It competes with the best in Phoenix.
-Melt-in-your-mouth corn soufflé, by far the best side dish.
-Friendly service
-No wait

Cons:
-BBQ Sauces were very runny (think italian salad dressing runny), and none of them really appealed to my tastes.
-Not very many sides to choose from (Why no fries?)
-Price: While not expensive, its definitely above average considering the location and portion size.
-Atmosphere: While the wood paneling and Texas flag adds a nice touch, the constant presence of flies did not.

Conclusion: Next time Ill get my meal with corn soufflé to go and use my own BBQ sauce.

Conclusion:
If I come again, I will
