Excellent steaks and menu with a casual atmosphere and local family owned & operated.

Very surprised!! Called days in advance and ordered a "fresh" duck for pick up. Was given a previously frozen duck that was simply thawed out. If I wanted that I could have picked up a duck at Publix and thawed it myself and avoided the holiday traffic. What a waste of time.... :(

Not what I expected at all very overrated for the price $16 for dry cold turkey with stuffing that they call TURDUCKIN and mashed potatoes with gravy! I've had better in a high school cafeteria for lunch... VERY OVERRATED!!!

First of all my Boyfriend got me interested because although the both of us were born and raised here in Sarasota we'd never heard of this place until one of his coworkers took him for lunch! He raved about it so much we had to go for dinner. So we did and of course it being a steakhouse I ordered steak for dinner accompanied by crab cakes and fries. The crab cakes weren't much to speak of but the steak was pretty good and the fries were just so wonderfully seasoned-perfectly crispy on the outside while the potatoes just melt in your mouth as soon as you bite into them! My boyfriends steak was pretty good too, the service may be a little slow but they make up for it with charm! It is a little pricey and to be honest and the décor is a little outdated (old diner style) which could be easily updated with a few minor changes here and there (say get rid of the dusty fake plants?) but totally adorable at the same time! Other than that this place is pretty cool! Have yet to try the turducken but I will!
