Delicious Middle Eastern fare made in-house from scratch is served by a friendly staff at this ultracasual Queen Village spot; the atmosphere of South Street permeates the adorable back dining room, and while some feel it needs more room, most consider it a solid standby.

Super yummy! Ducked in after an early Saturday morning shift at work and got a Hummus/Falafel sandwich for lunch and a chicken schwarma sandwich for dinner. Both were fantastic, and seriously they stuffed the pita FULL; and not just with tons of cucumber and tomato like a lot of places do to make it seem like you're getting more. They were overflowing with meat and falafel! Both were tasty as heck, the two guys and girl working there were ultra friendly, and I paid about $13. I don't know that I would ever choose to dine-in just because the place is so small and narrow, but food-wise - fantastic!

Alyan's is one of my favorite Ethnic restaurants. Their food is always fresh, delicious, exciting. The staff are always very courteous and its just a great place to eat. I've eaten there many, many times and I enjoy the food always. Try the house fries with jalapeno
And onions fried in with the potatoes or the falafel platter with hummus.

I love Greek salads so in my mission to seek out the most delicious, freshest, and authentic Greek salad, this place makes the top 5! We had lunch here last week and considered going back the next day. Try the greek salad with grilled chicken.

I have been going to this place since I moved to the area going on 10 years. I love the food, but sorry to say that I will not be going back. Just last week I was having dinner with my wife and to our surprise she found a piece of SHARP BROKEN GLASS in her food. The waitress express deep concern and empathy. Upon contacting the owner by phone and she put him on to speak with me. I can clearly hear he was upstair and he did not have the decency to come down and speak to me face to face. All he can say is he's sorry and did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to accommodate or make us feel he was really sorry in any shape or form. As the place was busy and most tables were full he had only 1 cook handling the whole place and even he did not have time to address this issue. So be warned that all that taste good is not safe.

I have been visiting this restaurant for about 10 years and loved every visit. The food is always great & I have never been let down. The consistency and freshness keep me coming back. They always use fresh ingredients and the wait is never an issue even when the place is packed.
