I came to the restaurant for my anniversary. I love the hostess stand at the entrance, the trendy vibe as you enter, and the attentive staff.

The 'library', which is where we were seated, is off the main dining area, and is quiet and intimate. I was impressed by the waitress (Erin) and her extensive knowledge of the menu. Unfortunately, the food is good, but not amazing. As a vegetarian, there were only about 5 options, all of which seemed so lackluster.

All in all, a cute date spot.

My husband and I had dinner at Amada this past weekend. The atmosphere was nice, the service was just ok, and the Tappas were good but that's about it, for the high end prices we expected much more. In addition the prices were outrageous.

Came here for dinner after touching down in PHL.

1. Garlic shrimp, 12
~Pretty good. Shrimp was cooked perfectly and was piping hot.

2. Scallops, 12
~Okay. Scallops were cooked pretty well, and the lemon definitely helped.

3. Chorizo, 9
~Mediocre. Too salty.

4. Esprragos Con Trufas, 11
Grilled asparagus, truffles, poached egg, mahón crisp
~Pretty good.

Service was good. The valet service is absolutely awful though. There was no one there to pick up my car when I dropped it off, and then I had to wait over 10 min to pick it up.

Their happy hour at the bar is great. Drinks are tasty and the little teaser menu they have truly shows the exciting foods your palate will taste if you stay for dinner. Food is very consistent, the portions are small due to them being tapas, but do not over order, food comes out quick, do couple of plates at a time.

I wish I could give half stars! This would be a 3.5 for sure. I came here for the 65$ tasting menu with wine pairing for a birthday dinner. We definitely did not leave hungry but I was slightly underwhelmed after everything I've heard about this place. I was expecting a more wow effect. My favorite dish we had were the lamp chops and octopus! I gave it less than 4 stars because I feel like for the value, it should have left a bigger impression. I've been to their sister restaurant, Tinto, and I love that place. I would recommend Tinto above Amada
