04/20/2015 8:00 pmAka air-kissing central, this buzzy Madison Avenue–area Med is the kind of place where the better-than-average food is incidental to the social scene; service is diffident if you've got a European title, inattentive if you don't, but the expensive pricing applies to all. |

01/08/2015 9:12 amCHILDREN ARE NOT WELCOME!!!!! My family made reservations and because our party included 2 children (who are extremely well behaved and have grown up dining out so they know how to behave) they would not seat us; we were kept waiting for over 10 minutes even though there were available and open tables and again we had made a reservation. The maitre basically ignored us; and it was clear to our party that they did not want us in their restaurant because of the children. So after 15 minutes of being ignored we just left. I have eaten there before, the food is good but this sort of behavior is UNACCEPTABLE or the staff should just have the decency of telling customers that children are not welcome so no one looses their time |

08/20/2014 12:10 amWasn't expecting much after reading the reviews. Our experience was a delight. Food was fresh and deliciously prepared; both seasonal watermelon salad and special fish with lemon sauce were spot-on. Service is indeed quite snooty and full of themselves but at the end of the day they're waiting on you. Prices are sky high. Thankfully the food was terrific. |

09/15/2013 10:24 pmI don't usually bother to review but on this occasion must warn against visiting this place. V. irritating sniffy treatment by waiters who seem to think they are going to illicit better tips by treating you indifferently. Average food despite trying a dish of the day, which then sent me to the bathroom shortly after returning to the hotel. Wine was however a pleasant diversion to the above. |

08/06/2013 6:31 pmHATE THE PLACE: Five years ago, I swore I'd never return. Last year we went again as we were taken by "regulars". I absolutely hate the place.Waiters are "Eurotrash" version of the waiters at the Stage Deli. Tonight we went with friends who insisted. Tables too close. Attitude of entire staff is horrible. Imagine sharing an appetizer salad and having it brought to one person and being told to share it yourself. Kitchen won't. Salmon was fine. Hate the place |
