Amato's, Bangor, Maine Restaurant Details

Stopped here for lunch once. The people there were very friendly and approachable; the food was great as with any local sandwich shop. Though I may live in Massachusetts, I would not hesitate to stop at another Amato's should I find one in my travels.

Have to be my favorite sandwiches in Bangor. A little more than what you'd pay for Subway, but worth it.

If you enjoy Italian food, you'll enjoy Amato's. Whether you've a hankering for a sub sandwich (an Italian), pizza, pasta, or more, you can't go wrong. I could eat Amato's sandwiches everyday for the rest of my life and be completely satisfied. The fresh bread, meat, cheese, and unbelievably fresh and crisp vegetables will have you craving more. A great stop for a quick meal. May be moderately expensive, but the product is well worth the extra coins.
