Love it. Definitely my favorite destination at City Market, especially on Wednesdays, when the Farmer's Market is underway. I have eaten here about once a week for many years - ten or so, if memory serves. A long time, anyway. The folks who run this place are wonderful and you can't beat the people watching at City Market. I usually order the Chicken Kurma but the Sharwama (spelling?) is pretty tasty as well. Recommended.

This is my favorite eatery in the downtown area. It is open only for lunch during the week, but it is a great getaway for sensational taste at an affordable price at lunch. They have daily specials during the week ranging from the best falafel I've ever eaten to mojadara (rice, lentil and onion dish). They also have standard dishes available every day that are also good. One of my wife's favorites is a cinnamon and raisin rice topped with chicken in a light tomato sauce. The owners are a nice Jordanian couple who prepare old family recipes at a reasonable price for their customers. Also, for a light breakfast, they have some of the best baklava I've eaten, also at a great price. It is well worth the visit, and I would encourage you to be adventurous and ask for samples.
