These are the best Subs in town by far. Better than DiBella's or Wegman's. The rolls are very good and always fresh. Their home roasted beef is excellent.

Every chance I get, I will stop at Amiel's. The roast beef sub is second to none and the combination of beef and fresh baked roll at the restaurant is just the best! My dining partner swears by their meatball sub on wheat. If there is a better Roast Beef sub in Rochester, I'd have to try it to believe it...... and I have had my share, trust me.

I always stop for a roast beef sub when I am in town. Gotta go with the toasted and buttered bun.... mmmm mmmm

I've gone here for years...they have the best grilled chicken (Chik-a-miel) subs ever! However, the last 2 times I have gone here the service is AWFUL and the quality of the subs hasn't been as good. Tonight I waited in line for 30 min. While there were only 2 people ahead of me because the sub makers acted like they were in no hurry, taking there time and going EXTREMLY slow! While a woman stood at the register and another kid was sweeping! Obviously there is some poor time management there! Customers should come first...not sweeping the floor. Then when I got back to work...there was ONIONS (which I hate and did not order) mixed in with the lettuce. Not planning a trip back there anytime soon.

They are the best sub shop in the Rochester area (that I have tried so far). Dibella's used to be the best but I think Amiel's has now edged them out a bit. How can I say such a daring statement? Have you tried their "Bernie's favorite" sandwich? Oh... my... gosh. It's amazing! I brought a friend in to try it the other day and he said "wow - they must have sprinkled 'yummy' all over this". I suppose their other sandwiches are good too but after trying the Bernie's I have not had anything else in a few years.
Now that I have let the cat out of the bag don't go making the lines any longer than they already are. They already tend to be a bit long around the peak of the lunch hour.
