02/14/2016 6:40 amSpa was very nice, mani/pedi was good quality. However, was given a different more expensive pedicure than I requested and still charged the higher price when I caught their mistake. Also, finger nails did not even last to the next day. Disappointed. |

11/22/2015 9:39 pmTraveling with our little kitten, she was stressed from flying but loved this hotel! Room was very clean, beds were awesome, great view, artwork & design fantastic, coffee shop in the lobby very convenient. Would have given one more star if the facility included a hot-tub! |

11/17/2015 6:44 pmStayed here for a night while in the process of moving. After a long day of loading the U-haul I just wanted a comfortable bed I could melt into, and the Sheraton provided that. I felt like I was sleeping in a cloud. The room was very clean, and the front desk has excellent customer service. If I were staying in a hotel in Anchorage again I would choose the Sheraton. |

10/18/2015 5:49 pmStayed there last week and the hotel/rooms are fine. I did want to mention something that I found rather disturbing about this location. I travel a lot for work and generally leave very early on my departing day. Unfortunately, I happen to leave a pair of shoes in the hotel room on this early morning and didn't realize until I got back home that night. I called the next day and they transferred me to housekeeping. The housekeeping department told me that they weren't found (impossible). The lady told me she would take a better look and call me back - they didn't. I called back a few days later to see if they had turned up - they hadn't. I asked to speak with a manager and was transferred without being told who I was being transferred to. "Hello", the manager answered. "Who is this?" I asked. "WHO is this??" I was asked in a pretty abrasive tone. "Your customer". I explained to him why I was calling and the GM told me that they were probably thrown away. He told me that they often get bundled up in the sheets and blankets and thrown away, he even told me I'd be surprised how often that happened. I guess I would be surprised, I've done a lot of laundry and never thrown away a pair of shoes while doing it. Also, their laundry doesn't go to the garbage. He insinuated that they couldn't have been taken by the staff because they weren't a valuable electronic (which is to insinuate that they could have been taken by the staff if it were). Either way, I have left other items in hotels in my travels and this is a first. Almost comical. Either way, it's an okay hotel but the "lost and found" doesn't find anything and the GM did nothing but blow smoke up my you know what and was not helpful at all. I will be more careful with my stuff from now on, as that is my fault, but this location will be my last resort whenever I stay in Anchorage. |
