01/15/2015 7:45 amMy husband and I loved the food (especially the truffle gnocchi). The wine selection is great, everything is also reasonably priced. The atmosphere is friendly but great for either a romantic night or with friends. Everyone was helpful and made you feel at home. The live music was moderate volume, perfect to be enjoyed while still being able to hear your own conversation. |

12/18/2013 11:41 amWe had a bad experience ... We WILL NOT go back and NOT recommend it AT ALL!!!!... They called themselves "friendly neighborhood café" but truly there is nothing friendly about them starting with the owners all the way down to the bass boys. All personnel are constantly micromanaged by the owners to ensure they remain un-engaged (yes.. not engaged ... hard to believe from a restaurant) with the customers. To the point that they won't even answer to questions.. you have to constantly push them to get what you need because they will not provide the minimum amenities (water, bread, even extra plates to share!!...) Food was standard and I would say overpriced, nothing amazing about their plates aside from the size and that is probably why they say they are a "French" café.... |

08/28/2012 4:20 pmAlways have a great time at this piece of heaven. But this evening we were a group of eight celebrating two birthdays and Angelique was the pppperfect choice for us. The food was amazing as always, the wine selection was just right considering we have a few snobs in the group (sorry for that) and the service was great. We were a difficult bunch to say the least and they still managed to satisfy each and everyone one of us. I will be back and will continue to suggest to friends and colleagues. Oh, and brunch is the best in town, good value for money and has everything you want including "well-made" mimosas (fyi, $14 for unlimited). |
