I went here on a Sunday night with my step mom on our last day of vacation because we saw the great reviews. We parked a block away at the lot recommended for this restaurant and had to walk by a cheap bar where we were hassled by the drunk guys. We get inside the door, and are given a head nod by the bartender to just go sit where we want. The place was small, dark, and empty; too late to go back to our car though.

The salad was some iceberg with a few croutons and dressing. The bread tasted dry and stale. My ravioli was pretty decent but overpriced. They say this is the best homecooked Italian food...I beg to differ. They do have a good wine selection, and you'll definitely need couple of drinks to get your mind off of the unpleasant dining experience.

When the check came and we paid, I joked to my step mom, "I hope you enjoyed it because it might've been our last meal." We left and hurried to the parking lot, hoping to avoid any more drunk men saying, "Don't worry, we'll take care of you ladies..."

Let's just say we got in our rental car in a heartbeat, locked the doors, and went back to our hotel for a stiff drink. WE NEEDED IT.

Looks like a dump from the outside but inside it's all good. The hostess was a bit concerned becaue we didn't have a reservation on a Saturday night but we were early enough they were able to seat us. All of our dishes were excellent, including the tiramisu, and the prices were just right (we used a coupon of course). Service was outstanding. Would definitely eat there again.

Ate here on Aug.27, 2008. Enjoyed the atmosphere and the food very much.
The calamari was an outstanding appetizer, the veal and the pork chops pizziola were very good. The only disappointment was with the salad. Prices are very reasonable. We will definitely be back.
