Had annas for the first time after living in norwood 22 years my whole life ! I had a blt and it was so delicious the tomatoes were so fresh. We also had pancakes gravy and biscuits and a 3 way all equally delicious !!!!!! The decor is very dated but it's a old place and I didn't mind it !

I have worked in several restaurants. This is a classic mom and pop with $5 or less breakfasts. Daily Dinner specials.

This place is a disaster! I ordered breakfast for carryout a couple times and it was decent (It's hard to mess up bacon and eggs). So my husband and I decided to try dinner out one night. The waitress was so high she could barely keep her eyes open to talk to us! We even heard the lady who was in the back cooking (I assume is the owner) yelling at her for being so high. As we were ordering my husband asked for a hoagie which she told us doesn't have pizza sauce, it comes with tomatoes, mayo, lettuce, etc. Okay, so he decided he didn't want that. He asked for the special which they were out of what he wanted. Okay, no problem. He decided on the open face roast beef dinner. The waitress told him that the roast beef comes with turkey gravy instead of beef gravy. Obviously he didn't want that. I'm thinking what?! As she can barley even keep her eyes open, I'm thinking this places options are ridiculous. I can't remember what we settled on but we picked side salads to go with it. The waitress proceeds to go make our salads and brings them to us. She then goes out to smoke. We both took a bite and instantly spit it out. The salad didn't look to great but it tasted like it was rotten and the ranch tasted like it had been in the fridge uncovered for months. I can't really explain it but it didn't even taste like ranch at all, just how a fridge smells when food is left in it uncovered until it goes bad. We sat there for ten mins before the waitress came back in from smoking. We told her it was bad and she takes it in the back and again the old lady is screaming at her. We finally just got up and left. Enough was enough. No wonder we were the only two people in there . We realized there was another restaurant right next door and decided to try them and have been going to them ever since. Im not sure how this place even stays open.

I go to Anna's quite frequently and I love the "mom & pop" atmosphere. The way the waitresses take care of the customers and interact. For a little old lady, of greek heritage, the owner can whip up some of the best food I have ever had for a very low price. I would rather take pictures, rather then eat the food. But since I am human, I eat it and I love every single bite. You all should go, awesome place.
