Tongue-tingling tacos, hefty, quality burritos and a few other fairly amazing Mexican entrees are plated up with rapid, machinelike efficiency to keep the craving crowds of this go-to local chain at bay; you definitely do not go for the decor, which has all the flair of a high school cafeteria, but for that quick, cheap takeout built to order.

Best burritos in Boston? Probably!

Life changing burritos? Sorry, not quite.

Never a disappointing time at Anna's. The beacon hill location is a bit smaller them some of the rest of the locations around the city but has 2 lines to speed things up and extra seating on the bottom floor when the top floor fills up.

Arguably (and I do mean, my friends and I argue about it) the best quick service burrito chain in Boston.

I really like their more unique burrito options like the lengua (cow tounge), makes for a more differentiated offering than the usual 'chicken or steak' at other burrito chains.

Here's the go-to order:
Lengua (or carnitas), super burrito, extra cheese, rice, refried beans, all toppings, sour cream, no guac (get to that later), add jalapeños, add hot sauce. Then get a side of tortilla chips and guac.

BOOM! You'll never be happier than that order.

I may have been intoxicated and accidentally ordered a veggie burrito, but I didn't regret my decision. They burritos are larger than Chipotle and you have more options for customization. The burrito was so flavorful and the veggie were incredibly crisp. The tacos are a little pricey, but these are no mere street tacos; my poor tortillas were overwhelmed by the amount of steak piled on top. 5 stars!
