This play is like a local L&L BBQ. They've got basically the same things, except everything is made in front of you by a cute older couple. I like to sit at the bar and eat there, I feel like an old-timer talking to the regulars :)

I can't believe I live so close and only recently discovered this place. I love small mom and pop diners and this has that exact feel. I had the chicken katsu which was quite tasty. I think the secret to chicken katsu is having the breading be crunchy but not overcooking the chicken and keeping it moist, which is exactly what Anna did. The portions are surprisingly large and I walked away stuffed. I'll definitely be back again.
