North end quality Italian classics at a fraction of the price.

Real family business with a home-y atmosphere.

Tip: one if the best canolis in the city!

Excellent Italian restaurant. As I am Italian, I don't eat italian food out...mom makes it better.
But, Antonio's is authentic, italian and reasonably priced. It's our new favorite place to dine in Boston.

Great little Italian restaurant. I loved the crab cakes and my husband raved it was the best seafood pasta he has EVER eaten! Found this place thanks to other Yelp recommendations, so decided to do one myself!

Was in town from Atlanta, and had already visited one of the top rated upscale Italian restaurants in the North End (had Osso Buco... love it!)... but this time was in the mood for a good hearty "red sauce" Italian meal. Due to logistics, I chose Antonio's. I had a good time. The place is very small...maybe 15 or so tables packed in a room the size of a rich lady's walk-in closet. Started off with the Bruschetta... and I have to say it was one of the best I've ever had. The bread was fresh, nicely crisp & not overly garlicky, while the marinated tomatoes were pretty much perfect... not too firm or ripe & nice and juicy. For the main course I had Chicken Parmesan. You can definitely tell the chicken is hand breaded. I sometimes worry I'll get some crappy frozen breaded chicken covered in sauce & cheese, but not here. The chicken was nice and tender... came with a side of penne w/ red sauce. Good Stuff! Their food is not fancy... but it doesn't have to be. The service was decent, although he never came back to see how I was doing... and could have easily sold me another drink (or two) had he simply noticed I was empty... and just asked. No biggie, though. Still, I highly recommend checking this place out.

Pros: delicious food + large quantities = happy Dan. I got the pork chops with peppers and potato sand it was fantastic. I ordered out so I can't speak on the atmosphere but I can say that they were ready when they said they would be.
Cons: I can't really find one. The only reason I gave it four out of five stars is because I've had better tasting food (homemade and at other restaurants near home) but I have to say, this meal was very delicious so please don't hesitate to go in and grab a meal because you will not be disappointed.
