Applebee's, Albuquerque, New Mexico, Hamburgers Restaurant Details

Made the mistake of stopping here at insistence of friend while waiting for airport flight. This review goes for all Applebee locations in USA, especially the ones in WA State where I have had the misfortune of "eating" there. Applebee's is typical of the garbage food ordered by the incompetent and clueless accountants at corporate food chains like Garlic Garden, Outhouse Steakhouse, Fuddupchuckers, ad nauseum.

FIRST, the corporate suits ordered a major SHRINKAGE of the dish sizes so their dummy patrons would be happy at paying 100% for 50% and left drooling over the "low cal" dishes.

SECOND, in my 40+ years of eating at places that ranged from top eateries to greasy spoons, I have NEVER had ANY restaurant serve me COLD slabs of cheese in a "GRILLED cheese" sandwich.

Who was the accountant CEO who order NO training for cooks?
Who was the genius accountant who decided to "ASSEMBLE" a grilled cheese sandwich by adding cold cheese to bread that was pre-grilled 24 hours earlier?

Bartenders are nice. This is an easy place to get a beer and food at night if you're staying in one of the many nearby hotels.

Had great food and the waiter was very fast and efficient and Marcelo the manager made sure everyone was having a great experience. Perfect place to take anyone to dine!

The term "customer service" means NOTHING here. I travel often, and frequent Applebee's around the country. This place is the worst, bar none. I was offered a drink, but had to request a menu. I was brought my food, but had to request a Napkin!? Not to mention the Beer I was served with a Hair in it! Total tourist trap. Avoid it like the Herp's!
