11/29/2015 12:53 amThis place really has gone down hill. The waitress was pleasant, but the food was a mess. My son and I went for his birthday and stayed only 45 minutes. I had the brisket enchiladas and my plate when it came was a mess. The slices of peppers were actually the ends of the peppers. The enchiladas were cold in the middle and the rice was one stiff, cold pattie thing. My soda was all ice and the music overhead was so loud, we could not have a conversation at the table. |

07/15/2015 1:42 pmI have been to Applebee's in Brunswick before and every time I go it is always a waste of time and money. This time we went, the waitress was amazing. But when it came to the food, it was disgusting! They have both me and my girlfriend steak that was tasteless and full of fat. We sent the food back and ordered something else. But when we got the bill they had charged us for mushrooms(the topping for my STEAK that I sent back) and the extra toppings for my baked potato(which I sent back with the steak). When confronting the manager she fought with us tooth and nail about the bill and basically told us to deal with it. We had two crying babies and just wanted to pay for what we ate and to leave. So we paid for our food and left. When we got into the car we decided to call the store and asked to speak to someone higher up in management. We spoke to Peter and he agreed that we shouldn't have been charged for the food we didn't eat and he gave us our meals for free. He told us all he wanted was to make sure that we were happy with our experience at his store. Unfortunately, we were not happy with our food or the fact that we had to fight with the employees for them to admit that they were wrong but we were very pleased with the way Peter handled our issue. Thank you Peter! |

01/09/2015 11:14 pmThis place has gone downhill. I used to go with my husband and his family sometimes twice a week. We looked forward to seeing our favorite waiter, but he no longer works there. (I heard through the grapevine he was fired, which to me seems absurd!) The manager rubs me the wrong way. Do yourselves a favor and head over to the 99's in Topsham or something. You'll get treated a lot better! |
