Applebee's, Memphis, Tennessee Restaurant Details

Food:

Poor Customer Service. Entire staff from the Managers to the hostess needs to be re trained in order for this restaurant to remain open or otherwise it will shut down. Clean up this place it is filthy.

Unfortunately I visited this 'restaurant' Sat afternoon around 4:30. The hostess was non communicative, and not paying attention. Once I broke through that barrier, we were sat in a booth. For the next 15 minutes, I watched 5 empty handed servers walk past me, look at me out of the corner of their eye and keep strolling. At the 20 minutes mark, my husband and I got up and walked out. This was not a busy time at this restaurant, as there were many empty tables. Once we left I called the store to talk to the manager and it took 13 calls to finally get someone to answer the phone (that does not speak well for your curb side ordering) only to be told by 'Omar' the manager that the front of the house staff has a lot of issues. I don't want to get to deep into the real issue we were not served, but it was not because of lack of staffing. This is NOT a good restaurant, at all. I would rather they close and look at the empty building. NOT ACCEPTABLE.

Food:

Dirty dishes. When I drank water from my cup you can taste lemon from the previous drinker. My aunt had extra stuff that didn't come with her meal on her plate. Her cup had stuff in it as well. Food was half done also.

Dirty tableware, slow service, got order wrong. You'd think in the age of an instant review people would try better. These folks don't care.

Tried to give it a second chance. Still dirty. Utensils are dirty, some of the staff is helpful and others act like they don't want to be here or care at all. Food came out on time, but it's less than impressive. I won't be coming back after this.
